The Early Days

Our Zae was created by the unification of two Zaes; the Vamont Empire and DaeZae. The Vamont Empire was the successor state of the Kingdom of Carsieka, and DaeZae was a semi-sized roleplaying community based on Carsiekan values. The union was made possible by DaeZae leader Lord Death and Vamontian Emperor Jesse (the latter being given the name “Lord Vamont” by the former during the union process).

Vamontian Era

At formation on August 1, 2005, DaeZig did not have a distinct national identity. The union of Vamont and DaeZae was welcomed by the people of both nations, but cultural unification of the people would not come for some time. Lord Death stepped back from leadership. He was satisfied with his time as leader of DaeZae, and wanted Lord Vamont to take over, feeling that it would be best for the Zae.

Lord Vamont was indeed best for the Zae. For over a year, he ruled. He unified the two major constitute communities, built a vast empire and defeated the aggression of LifeZig. He reonciled with the LifeZigs, built the FinalZig Union and directed it through good and bad times. His administrative character was usually based on status quos and equality, even though some seemed rash.

Vamont’s era was a zenith of Valstrazian Ziggism and DaeZig influence, but his era drew to a close at the same time as the FinalZig Union. The disasterous “Vamontism” policy of chaos caused the near-demise of the Zae, but Lord Vamont gave his all to DaeZig until his eventual resignation.

Sylvian Era

Picking up the pieces of FinalZig and unifying the Zae once more was Lord Silvia, a devout DaeZig Valstrazian who Vamont had chosen as his successor. At the start of her era, DaeZig was in shambles. FinalZig had separated Vamont and DaeZae in the name of “equality”. Silvia led the Zae through wars of unification, and with Lord Vamont as an unlikely Overseer, rebuilt the Zae to its former glory, ordering Vamont to undo or reverse many of the problems created by his mistakes. She preserved the culture and expanded the empire.

However, Lord Silvia remained active for just a little while. Various personal crisises kept her from being able to give the Zae her full attention. Her reign had to be kept going through various improvised and often insufficient means.

Daesigan Era (Present)

Lord Silvia agreed that she could no longer effectively manage the Zae, and bravely accepted a successor, Lord Daesiga. Daesiga is a competent and capable woman, and has upheld the status of our Zae, through re-expansion and cultural preservation with respect for history. During her era, the Zae has opened up to the outside under the Overseership of Lord Snow, perfected management and ascended to be even greater than it has ever been.
